Just wanted to touch bases with you and comment on our trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. We had a wonderful time. The “guides” were fantastic and well worth the expense. In Moscow we saw almost everything. Our hotel was well located and allowed us to walk to many sites. We saw the ballet and opera and had good seats. St. Petersburg certainly is very interesting and makes you think you are in Europe. We had dinner in the Russian home and I would say a highlight of the trip. They were very open to us, we talked all night and the vodka flowed endlessly. We shared gifts as well. Leaving Russia left a little “lump-in-the-throat.” The good part about leaving is that you can return. Steve, you did a wonderful job of developing our itinerary. We did a lot, saw a lot, ate a lot and felt a kinship to “Mother Russia.” Spaseaba.
