Day 1
- Pick up from airport.
- Guide will meet you and help you check into hotel. She will go over logistics issues, show you the area, and discuss your upcoming days’ activities.
- If there allows, a walking overview or driving overview tour can be scheduled.
- Catherine Palace – home of the Amber Room.
Day 2
- Personal guide all day.
- Hydrofoil to Peterhof – This hydrofoil departs from the pier at the Winter Palace and returns there. The price reflects the addition of a ticket for your guide.
- Peterhof – breathtaking fountains & palace.
- Hermitage – magnificent collection of the masters – site of Winter Palace.
- Numerous evening events are available.
Day 3
- Personal guide all day.
- Today you travel to the ancient Russian capital of Novgorod for an overnight excursion.
- Novgorod local guide – 6 hours.
- Novgorod excursion ancient capital of Russia: Bus fare and admissions included. Visit the ancient Kremlin and a Russian village museum.
- Novgorod Banya: You will be picked up from your apartment for a unique Russian experience, a traditional banya with a “branch” massage, tea and light meal.
Day 4
- Personal guide all day.
- Return to St. Petersburg.
- Russian Museum/Russian Art. I just visited this museum again and it is magnificent!!
- Church on Spilled Blood – most unusual, beautiful inside!!
Day 5
- Personal guide all day.
- Piskariovskoye Memorial Cemetery of the Victimsof the Siege of Leningrad – Siege of Leningrad Museum. This impressive museum captures the difficulties of life during the blockade. You will even see preserved daily bread rations (not more than125g) that consisted of rye flour, as well as soy, oil cake and other strange mixtures.
Day 6
- Transfer to airport.

3 star hotel near Winter Palace ( breakfast included).

Novgorod: Apartment – charming apartment lovingly restored – sleeps 4 – 1 bed, 1 sleeper sofa.

Ballet may me upgraded to a for incremental cost.
Transportation is primarily public transportation – Metro – Hydrofoil – walking.
Transfers are included using a private auto.
Private cars are available during your visit at an hourly rate.
