Lithuania “Lietuvos Respublika”  is the southernmost of the three Baltic states and a country rich in history and tradition.  At one time Lithuania was the largest country in Europe.  Its capital, and the largest city in Lithuania, is Vilnius, a “must see” when in Europe. In 2009, Vilnius was selected as the European Capital of Culture and Lithuania celebrates the millennium of its name.
